Ambrosino (Naples, 1982) begins his exhibiting activity back in 1998 with his participation in the Prize contest Premio in onore delle celebrazioni Leopardiane of Torre del Greco (Naples). In 2005 at the Gallery Selezioni d’Arte of Salerno he sets up his first personal exhibition Tracce del corpo and participates in the VI Premio Camposauro of Vitulano (Brindisi) and in the Premio Vigna degli artisti of Vinci (Florence) as well, where he gets a special mention for Breath, a work created in collaboration with Tommaso Iuliano and subsequently acquired by the F.R.A.C. Museum of Baronissi (Salerno). In 2007 he is among the artistis invited to the collective exhibition Echi Temporanei set up at the F.R.A.C. Museum. In 2008 he is present at the XIII Biennale d’Arte Sacra at the Stauròs Museum of Isola del Gran Sasso (Teramo), while in 2009 he takes part in various collective exhibitions among which Persistenze sul confine dell’immagine. Ripensando ad Andrea Pazienza at the MAT-Museo of Alto Tavoliere of San Severo (Foggia); then La Défense – priorità dello spazio, necessità del tempo arranged for the Fës Show Room of Minori (Salerno) in the contest of Aperto09. Meetings of contemporary art followed along with the Magical Mystery Tour at the Gallery Wunderkammern in Rome.

During 2010 Ambrosino participated in the show I cortili dell’arte held in Villaricca (Naples) and was invited to the IV edition of Premio Razzano held in Benevento, his works assessed among the best ones. In 2010 he was artist in residence at the Grad Kultural Center of Beograd (Serbia). The following year with the work Essente, esisto per chi sono, esisto per chi fu he exhibited at Palazzo of San Galgano in Siena, in the Chiesa dei Bigi in Grosseto and in the Chiesa of Annunziata in Marcianise as well as in the show Prefigurazioni. Una parete per l’arte at the show room Tekla of Cava de’ Tirreni and in Prefigurazioni – Linguaggi Attuali at the F.R.A.C. – Museum of Contemporary Art of Baronissi(Salerno).

It dates to 2012 his personal exhibition Luoghi e dinamiche dell’essere set up in Ferrara. Of the same year are green dreams – sguardi della giovane arte campana at the Temple of Pomona in Salerno, and Interrail, un viaggio nell’immagine at the gallery Art’s Events – Contemporary Art Center of Torrecuso (Brindisi). In 2014 he exhibits his work Essente, esisto per chi sono, esisto per chi fu first in Capalbio within the show Art and Wine and then in the show contest Yourself@Gallery of the Museo Madre in Naples. The year 2015 witnesses his participation in the contest TWO CALLS for the section WALL (new space of Casso) announced by Dolomiti Contemporanee with the work/project “With my head in the clouds but the feet on the ground” classified among the first 70 selected. The same year there take place the exhibitions Incontri ravvicinati at Palazzo Ventimiglia of Stella Cilento (Salerno) and UTOPOLIS La città visibile in Cassero Senese of Grosseto.

In 2016 he is artist in residence for Das Fürstliche Gartenfest at the Schloss Fasanerie of Fulda, with the art installation In that time, too many lions will have the heart of the donkey. Of this same year is his first personal exhibition in Cortina d’Ampezzo entitled La forma del tempo – The shape of time at the Museo Paleontologico Rinaldo Zardini as well as his participation in the collective exhibition Cammina leggero perché cammini sui miei sogni – Walk lightly as you are walking on my dreams.

Ambrosino lives and works in Serdes, a suburb of San Vito di Cadore.
